Behavioral Assessment (Functional Assessment)

Prior to implementing any type of treatment, a child must first receive a functional assessment.  This assessment helps to identify some of the "root causes" of behavior problems and skill deficits. This initial assessment assists the BCBA in the construction goals and objectives for therapy. Behavioral assessment does not end at intake. The child’s progress is monitored daily and the child’s progress towards goal completion is presented to parents on a regular basis
